American Red Cross of Greater PA and Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue

Home fires claim seven lives every day, together we can change that.  We've joined the American Red Cross in installing smoke alarms and delivering fire prevention information in homes across our area.  We know that working smoke alarms can decrease the risk of a home fire death by 50% and in the event of a home fire, you may have as little as just two minutes to escape a burning home.

This is why we, the Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue, are helping to ensure our neighbors and communities are safe and prepared.  That includes helping families to create an escape plan to practice their 2-minute drill and installing smoke alarms in homes we visit.  We'll also be distributing home fire prevention and safety materials.  To schedule your appointment, call 484-403-4734.

The Red Cross and the Boyertown Area Fire & Rescue are asking every household in Boyertown, Pennsylvania to take two simple steps that can save lives; check existing smoke alarms and practice fire drills at home.  More information on home fire safety and resources can be found at redcross.org/homefires.
